Company History

1980

Two sets of brothers became life-long friends and would later change the way hemp and cannabis are now processed around the globe.

2013

The brothers became partners and established one of Washington’s first cannabis growing operations and began developing industry-best processing techniques.

2015

Root Sciences was officially founded alongside German manufacturer, VTA, and became one of the first to bring cannabinoid distillation to the hemp and cannabis industries.

2018

Root Sciences partnered with DEVEX to begin the process of developing CyroEXS, an all-in-one cold-ethanol extraction system.

2019

By partnering with GEA, Root Sciences changed best practices in the manufacturing of cannabinoid beverages and edibles… again.
